Baby Mouse: Our Hero was an entertaining book! It was a very engaging read, because everyone will be able to sympathize with Baby Mouse's elementary school experiences in some form or another. For instance, the daily drudgery of getting up early every morning, issues with your school locker, conflicts with your weakest subjects, a nemesis, and worst of all physical education! I liked sports, but in grade school, you never knew what the "mean" PE teacher had in mind. Sometimes, she had some cool events planned, like dodgeball, basketball, or kickball, but more than half the time it was something lousy like square dancing, stick dancing, tumbling, or Lummi sticks. Ugh! I dreaded PE and music classes, but, just like Baby Mouse, once the experience was over, I usually discovered that the actual experience was really not that bad! And, then you just moved on to the next day!
