Read Aloud Plan: Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? by Dr. Seuss

Final Results
I read the book, Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? to Nehemiah. He loved it, and as expected, he wanted me to reread the book to him again. Yet, he surprised me when he said that he wanted to read the book to me! He actually did a good job. He has not learned to read, but he did a good job associating the pictures to the sounds. At the end of the book, all the sound words are shown together with no pictures. Again, he surprised me by being able to make the correct sounds for most of the noted words. I guess that he was able to recognize most of the words. Yet, Nehemiah loves interactive books, especially if they are colorful. I have several of these books, and he loves them all!

Preliminary Thoughts
I chose a Dr. Seuss book for my Read Aloud assignment. The book is Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? I will be reading the book to my four year old nephew, Nehemiah. He loves interactive books, so I expect him to be very enthusiastic when I read this book! Plus, he will love the colorful pictures. My expectation is that he will make the same sounds as Mr. Brown. I also expect him to quickly associate the sounds to the pictures. In addition, he will want me to read the book more than once.
